Shields of Life Spirit - Needlepoint Kit -
This design is part of a series, the Shields of Life series. Each shield represents an important trait to live a full and meaningful life. The Shields are spiritual shields that protect our loved ones and ourselves. Each shield is filled with exciting combinations of stitches and threads. The shields are then combined in patterns, which give the negative space interest as well. This design is a row of three shields forming a band across the canvas. There is an in-depth study of complex stitches and changing fiber color, manipulating both into painted lines and shapes. You will work with metal Pearl Purl and learn techniques to maximize the effect. Beading will be a major part of the design. The abundance in the kit will be mouth watering and with it's Middle Eastern flair, this design will transport you on a wonderful journey.
